Coming to Meet. The maiden is powerful. One should not marry such a maiden. An unexpected encounter with a dark force — the yin element rises to meet the yang. This meeting must be handled with caution, as the inferior element seeks to infiltrate.

姤：女壮，勿用取女。

Under heaven, wind — the image of Coming to Meet. Thus the prince distributes commands and proclaims them to the four quarters of heaven. Wind sweeping under heaven reaches everywhere; one must be alert to how influences spread and encounter one another.

天下有风，姤；后以施命诰四方。
