The Traveler. Small success. Perseverance brings good fortune to the traveler. The traveler represents a stranger in a foreign land — one must be cautious, modest, and careful with relationships. Travel demands adaptability and restraint.

旅:小亨,旅贞吉。

Fire on the mountain — the image of the Traveler. Thus the superior man is clear-minded and cautious in imposing penalties and does not drag out legal proceedings. Fire on the mountain burns briefly and moves on; the traveler must act swiftly and not linger.
