The Family. The perseverance of a woman furthers. The family is the foundation of all social order. When inner order prevails, the family thrives, and its influence extends outward to society. Strict but loving governance within the home brings lasting stability.

家人：利女贞。

Image (象辞)

Wind comes forth from fire — the image of the Family. Thus the superior man has his words substantiated by his deeds and makes his conduct consistent. Wind arising from fire shows inner warmth producing outward influence; word and deed must align.

风自火出，家人；君子以言有物而行有恒。
