Peace. The small departs, the great approaches. Good fortune. Success. Heaven and earth are in communion; all things flow together in harmony. The ruler leads and the people follow — a time of prosperity and unity.

泰：小往大来，吉亨。

Image (象辞)

Heaven and earth in communion — the image of Peace. Thus the ruler divides and completes the course of heaven and earth, and so aids the people. When heaven and earth interact, their energies merge, producing abundance and flourishing.

天地交，泰；后以财成天地之道，辅相天地之宜，以左右民。
