Judgment (卦辞)

Increase. It furthers one to undertake something. It furthers one to cross the great water. Increase means expansion and augmentation — moving from below to above. When the lower element is strengthened, the whole system benefits.

益：利有攸往，利涉大川。

Image (象辞)

Wind and thunder — the image of Increase. Thus the superior man, when he sees good, moves toward it; when he sees faults, he turns inward to correct them. Thunder and wind combine to produce growth; moral improvement parallels material increase.

风雷，益；君子以见善则迁，有过则改。
