Revolution. On your own day, you are believed. Supreme success, furthering through perseverance. Remorse disappears. Revolution means fundamental transformation — when the old order has become untenable, radical change becomes necessary and is accepted.

革：己日乃孚，元亨利贞，悔亡。

Image (象辞)

Fire in the lake — the image of Revolution. Thus the superior man sets the calendar in order and makes the seasons clear. Fire burning within the lake transforms its nature; radical change must be timed precisely and implemented clearly.

泽中有火，革；君子以治历明时。
